Ben Pearce racing will head to the meeting today at Ascot with two representative's for the stable, the first being Bellaxena in race 5 to be ridden by Peter Knuckey jumping from barrier 2.
Bellaxena's form this time in, has been a bit scratchy after finishing out of a cheque in two starts this preparation split between them with a great trial at Larkhill with the four-year-old winning that trial by 3.0 lengths.
Bellaxena's 3rd up form has been sound and based on that, it is hopeful that statistic will carry through to a cheque for connections.
The second runner for the team will be Flight Of Fancy in race seven jumping from barrier 11 to be ridden by Ben Patterson.
Flight Of Fancy will be looking to the extra distance after coming off a last start 9th of 15 at Bunbury where she was 12th at the 800m marker, finishing just over five lengths off the eventual winners on that occasion. The form of the competitors in this race is reasonably solid, however it is hoped the weight advantage can carry Flight Of Fancy into this race.
