The final event on the Toodyay race meeting on Sunday saw Bellaxena coming out in race 7 in the Austral bricks classic over 1100 m with Peter Hall to steer jumping from an awkward barrier 10 of 10.
As the gates flew back Belaxena was out in a prominent forward position from the from the deep, with Sheezthebizness leading the event, Malan's Thunder was in second Been Here Before was third Hurritdanz was in fourth position and Bellazena was racing wide as the runners vied for the best position in the sprint race.
Round the side 600m from home Been Here Before was making a race of it Milan's Thunder was loosing touch, Bellaxena was looming large with Classico in the mix, heading for the judge it was a race in two with Bellaxena eyeing Been Here Before, with the Ben Pearce commodity gaining the upper hand in the concluding stages to land the prize by a quarter of a length to Been Here Before with Hurritdanz two lengths adrift in third with the time for the event clocked at 1:06.67.
