Bellaxena showed a great deal of improvement today at the Ascot race meeting with the four-year-old mare running a nice race over 1000m ridden by Peter Knuckey.
The pairing took a trail behind the leading duo and were parked in a good spot on entering the straight.
Knuckey came off heals and headed to the judge in a more positive fashion than recent runs to finish 3rd by just under 2 lengths.
Hopefully Bellaxena will derive great benefit from the outing and continue through this prep with confidence.
