Ben Pearce will supply one runner to the Ascot metropolitan turf club meeting on Wednesday, November 26 with fine conditions at this stage forecast racing on a good three with the rail out 15 m with the cutaway to apply.

The sole stable runner for the team will come out in race three in a Westspeed three-year-old handicap over 1500 m with Bal Amour having her second career start for the team to be ridden by Ben Patterson jumping from barrier six in a field of 13.

Bal Amour prepared for this preparation via a Lark Hill trial on October 13 over 950 m finishing fifth of eight with Peter Hall aboard landing 1.5 lengths behind the winner of that heat, she then trialled again on October 24 at Bunbury over a thousand metres finishing six of eight when ridden by Peter Hall landing four lengths off the heat winner in a time of 59.91 and was saddled up for her first tilt at competitive racing at Ascot on November 4 finishing six of 9 over 1200 m when ridden by Jason Brown, finishing 3.75 lengths off the winner of that race in a time of 1:11.73 with the last 600m in 35.09.
