The Ben Pearce racing stables will supply three runners to the Ascot turf club race meeting on Saturday, October 24 with fine conditions forecast the rail position is out 12 m racing on a good 3.

The first stable runner will see Vital Edition compete in race 4 over 1600 m with Ms Jerry Noske aboard the last start winner jumping from barrier 4 with a field of 9 to compete.

Vital Edition is a five-year-old Bay gelding having raced on 28 occasions for six wins and four placings earning prize-money in excess of $128,000, last time out he raced at Northam on October 8 finishing first of 8 over 1600 m in a 0 to 68 handicap with Ms Casey Hunter aboard landing the prize by half a length on that occasion in a time of 1:35.70, with the last 600m in 34.38.

The next stable runner will see last start winner Bomber Bay head out in race 6 over 1400 meter in a BM 66+ handicap with Ms Jerry Noske aboard jumping from the widest gate 10 of 10.

Bomber Bay is a four-year-old Brown gelding having start number seven with two wins and two placings earning prize-money in excess of $45,000, last time out he raced at Belmont on October 10 over 1200 m landing the prize first of 11 with Joseph Azzopardi aboard arriving half a length in front of the nearest rival in a time of 1:12.28 with the last 600m in 34.58.

The final stable runner will see Don'tgetcaught head out in race eight in a BM 66+ handicap over 1800 m with Don'tgetcaught to be ridden by Troy Turner jumping from barrier 11 in a field of 14.

Don'tgetcaught is a five-year-old Bay gelding having raced on 21 occasions for four wins and seven placings earning prize-money in excess of $66,000, last time out he raced at Belmont on October 7 finishing second of 9 over 1700 m with Troy Turner the pilot landing half a length behind the race winner in a time of 1:43.23 with the last 600m in 35.71 racing on a good three.

Ben has made a gear adjustment for this outing by removing the BUBBLE CHEEKER.
