Sessions mare Queen Of Hawks scored a strong win at Narrogin on Saturday when leading throughout in the TABtouch Supports Narrogin Racing Handicap (1100m).
Racing second-up from a spell, the four-year-old jumped a $2.70 favourite and was sent straight to the lead by jockey Kyra Yuill where she always looked in control.
The bay skipped clear turning for home before extending her margin over the final stages to defeat Mistress Of War ($6.50) by just over two-and-a-half lengths in what was easy viewing for her backers.
Nutwood ($14) finished a further length-and-a-quarter away in third place.
Bred and owned by Oakland Park Stud, the lightly-raced Queen Of Hawks has now had eight career starts for three wins, two minor placings and $74,330 in total earnings.
The Pearce stable will saddle up Eternal Romance and Spirit Of Luna at Pinjarra on Sunday.
