Demerit filly Agent Pippa will launch her three-year-old campaign at Belmont today.

The Group 3 Gimcrack Stakes-winning filly is the $2.40 pre-post favourite for the Fiona Lacey’s Unmentionable Birthday Plate (1000m) with regular rider Joseph Azzopardi aboard.

Agent Pippa will face just six rivals in her return, however, much-hyped debutant and former $150,000 yearling purchase Flirtini has been heavily commissioned into $2.80 second-favourite on the back of two impressive trial wins.

Flirtini looks favoured by jumping from barrier two, with Agent Pippa likely to have to settle outside of her in running after drawing barrier five.

Meanwhile, Time To Hunt faces a rise in class after promising performances at his first two runs back this preparation.

The four-year-old clocked the fastest closing 600m sectional of his race when making up ground against the track bias and finishing one-and-a-quarter length third to Juicing Carrots on August 8.

Azzopardi retains the mount aboard Time To Hunt in today’s Legrand Galaxy Handicap (1600m) and the pair will jump from the outside barrier in a field of nine.

Due Sasso eight-year-old Woolibar will also race third-up from a spell when he contests the Amelia Park Lodge Handicap (1000m) in the final race on the eight-race card.

Amelia Park-owned gelding Monsoon broke his maiden status for the Pearce stable when winning at Northam on Thursday.
