The Ben Pearce racing stables will supply a number of runners to the Belmont turf club race meeting on Saturday, August 29, with fine conditions forecast racing on a good 4 the rail position is in the inside.

The first of the stable runners will venture out in race 2 with Chanzig returning from a spell with Paul Harvey aboard in a three-year-old plate over a thousand metres jumping from barrier five with a small field of 7 to compete.

Chanzig is a three-year-old gelding having start number five with one win and one placing earning prize-money in excess of $74,000, before going for a break the youngster raced at Ascot in the Magic Million Perth two-year-old event finishing at the tail of the field on that occasion when ridden by Alan Kennedy arriving 7.25 lengths off the leader and resumed this preparation with a trial at Belmont on August 17 finishing nine of nine over a thousand metres with Paul Harvey aboard arriving eight lengths behind the winner on that occasion.

The second stable runner Vital Edition will come out in race 4 in a  stayers bonus handicap over 2200 m with Peter Hall aboard jumping from barrier six in a field of 14.

Vital Edition is a five-year-old Bay gelding having start number 26 with five wins and four placings earning prize-money in excess of $117,000, with recent efforts being at Belmont on August 1 finishing 10 of 10 over 2000 m with Jason Brown aboard arriving 19.75 lengths behind the winner & was last seen,  in a much improved effort over 1650m at Belmont on August 15 with Jordan Turner aboard finishing fourth of 14, 2.5 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:41.49.

The next stable runner Danablue will come out third up from a spell in race eight in a BM 72+ handicap over 1200 m with Jarrad Noske aboard jumping from barrier 10 in a field of 14.

Danablue is a six-year-old Bay gelding having start number 27 with five wins and 10 placings earning prize-money in excess of $213,000, recent efforts have been a Belmont on July 25 finishing 10 of 11 over 1200 m in the HG Bolton listed with Peter Knuckey aboard arriving five lengths behind the winner and was last seen at Belmont on August 8 finishing second of 8 over 1300 m with Jarrad Noske aboard arriving 3.75 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:20.72 racing on a soft six.

The final stable runner Raising Dubai will come out in race nine in a BM 66+ handicap over a mile with Jerry Noske aboard jumping from an awkward barrier 15 with a field of 16 to take part.

Raising Dubai is a 6-year-old Bay gelding having start number 40 with six wins and 15 placings earning prize-money in excess of $216,000, recent efforts have been at Belmont on August 1 finishing first of 8 over 1600 m with Jerry Noske in charge arriving half a length in front of the nearest rival in a time of 1:40.21 racing on a soft six and was last seen at Belmont on August 15 finishing second of 10 over 1650m racing on a good 4 with Paul Harvey aboard arriving one length behind the winner in a time of 1:40.40 with the last 600m in 35.81.
