Mad Brad is a three-year-old bay gelding having resumed on June 3 and has raced handily in three starts with a second at Belmont June 18, followed by a fourth of 12 at Belmont on June 28 over 1300 m with last start being a welcoming addition to the prep, finishing first of 12 on July 9 over 1200m with Peter Hall steering the gelding to a half length victory in a time of 1:12.64, with the last 600m in 36.43 on a Dead 4 track.
