The Ben Pearce team will supply two runners to the Belmont metropolitan race meeting on Saturday, October 11 with fine conditions predicted racing on a good three with the rail on the inside position.
The first the stable runners will come out in race 4 with last start winner Raising Dubai competing in the stayers bonus handicap over 2000 m with Peter Hall aboard jumping from barrier three of nine.
Raising Dubai is a five-year-old Bay gelding having start number 34 with 4 wins & 11 placings earning prize-money in excess of $100,000.
Recent races contested by the gelding have been at Belmont finishing fifth of 12 on September 10 over 1700 m with Hall aboard finishing 5 3/4 lengths from the winner, and was last seen at Toodyay on September 28 taking out the 1850 meter event by a neck to his nearest rival when sent out as favorite.
The second stable runner will come out in race six in 1200 meter handicap event with last start winner Danablue to be ridden by Alan Kennedy jumping from barrier eight in a field of 11 with 61 kg assigned to the gelding.
Recent runs for the five year old have been at Belmont on August 23 finishing sixth of 11 over 1400 m with Ben Paterson aboard finishing 2 1/2 lengths off the winner, and was last seen at Belmont on September 27 taking out the event on that occasion by three quarters of a length when ridden by Kennedy in a time of 1:13.14 with the last 600 m in 36.55 on a dead five.
Danablue has won four times and placed on eight occasions with prize-money in excess of $158,000.
