The Ben Pearce stable runners will not kick off until race seven with two runners Danablue coming back from a spell and Mad Brad second up from a break, will compete in the HG Bolton Sprint over 1200 m with $100,000 of listed prize money on offer for the 11 competitors, Danablue will head out with Peter Knuckey aboard jumping from barrier seven with Mad Brad to be ridden by Ms Jerry Noske jumping from barrier eight.
Danablue is a five-year-old Bay gelding having start number 25 with five wins and nine placings earning prize-money in excess of $200,000, recent efforts have been a Pinjarra February 22 finishing eight of 11 in the Chaff City listed race with Steven Parnham aboard arriving five lengths behind the winner and was last seen at Bunbury on March 8 finishing second of 10 in another listed event at Bunbury over 1400 m with Jarryd Noske aboard arriving 5.25 lengths behind the winner on that occasion Black Heart Bart.
Mad Brad is a four-year-old Bay gelding having start number 17 with five wins and eight placings earning prize-money in excess of $158,000 recent efforts have been at Geraldton on March 22 finishing first 14 over 1300 m with Dom Tourneur the pilot landing the prize by a neck on that occasion and was last seen at Belmont on July 11 in the Beaufine Listed race finishing third of 11 with Ms Jerry Noske aboard arriving 1.25 lengths behind the winner in a time of 58.44 with the last 600m clocked at 34.23 in an outstanding return to racing.
The final stable runner will see Vital Edition come out third up from a spell in race 8 over 1600 m with Peter Knuckey aboard jumping from barrier one in a field of 12.
Vital Edition is a four-year-old gelding having start number 23 with five wins and four placings earning prize-money in excess of $113,000 last time out he raced at Belmont on July 11 finishing seven of 11 over 1400 m with Peter Knuckey aboard arriving 3.75 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:25.33.
