Chanzig is a three-year-old gelding having start number six with one win and one placing earning prize-money in excess of $76,000, after returning this preparation he trialled at Belmont on August 17 finishing nine of nine with Paul Harvey aboard arriving eight lengths behind the heat winner over a thousand metres and was last seen at Belmont on August 29 finishing five of five over a thousand metres with Paul Harvey in charge arriving 8.75 lengths behind the winner in a time of 57.69

Danablue is a six-year-old Bay gelding having start number 28 with an impressive five wins and 10 placings earning prize-money in excess of $213,000, recent efforts have both been at Belmont, the first on August eighth finishing second of 8 over 1300 m with Jarrad Noske aboard arriving 3.75 lengths behind the winner and was last seen at the same venue on August 29 finishing 12 of 13, over 1200 m with Jarrad Noske again in charge arriving 7.5 lengths behind the winner in a time of 1:12.32.
The final stable entrant Don'tgetcaught is a five-year-old Bay gelding having start number 19 with four wins and six placings earning prize-money in excess of $61,000, recent outings have been at Ascot on March 7 finishing third of 11 over a mile with Alan Kennedy aboard arriving 2.75 lengths behind the winner and is prepared for this preparation via a Lark Hill barrier trial on August 31 finishing fourth of 10 over 950 m with Troy Turner aboard arriving 2.75 lengths behind the heat winner in a time of 57.06 on a good track.
