On jumping in the Crown Perth opening-day October 15, 1600 meter event, the early leader was the roughy Right Honourable, to lead the field out Pounamu was next followed by Charleston with Raising Dubai relaxing via the Crown logo to settle fourth via the 1200m.
Coming to the bend Right Honourable was under pressure, travelling past the 400m, Raising Dubai was warming up, running to the lead, off his hip now was the favourite starting to raise an effort in Chocolate Holic advancing to the lead in the concluding stages to grab the prize by a length and a half on the line to a solid display by Raising Dubai in second with Pounamu in third.
