Stable runner Money Maher competed in a no metro win plate for two-year-old’s at Ascot in race 2, with a 1200m distance before them, seeing Joseph Azzopardi to ride the runner returning from a break.
Leaving the stalls Patrocity led Cognac with Al Di La following in advance of Athlete with the Ben Pearce prepared runner via the 800m having two runners behind it.
On turning for home Money Maher was the widest runner and was given some rein by Azzopardi, chasing out after the race leader late on the scene was Pure Gem who raced to the lead, scoring the prize in advance of Money Maher with Zon Zol in third.
