The Ben Pearce Yard saddled up two runners in the form of Hillbert and Full Disclosure to race two on the Bunbury card in the machinery West Maiden competing on a soft five.
When the gates drew back the 1st to land was Double Edged, Full Disclosure was wide early with Hillbert towards the rear.
On rounding the turn Double Edged, Scandal Maker, Alfreda and Full Disclosure fanned for home, with Scandal Maker racing to the lead with 50m to go and although Hillbert was running on strong late on the scene, it was Scandal Maker landing the prize in advance of Hillbert, who showed plenty of fight for connections at start number 1, Mybak arrived back in third.
Full Disclosure finished midfield on this occasion.
