The stable prepared Pushin’ Shapes proved at odds he’s the real deal over a mile when taking out the Real Iced Tea Co Handicap in race six on the Ascot card, ridden a gem by Joe Azzopardi leaving barrier (7).

Pushin’ Shapes sat with one runner behind its rump when they landed in the mile event, Rosmartini led Infathuated with Saker on the fence covered by Ripper Rio.

On straightening Rosmartini led, but was challenged immediately by Infathuated, Pushi’n Shapes was taken to the outside by Azzopardi, whom gained the upper hand in the concluding stages, to bob the head down on the line to score the prize in advance of Infathuated with Ripper Rio next in tow.
