A nose was all that separated the Ben Pearce yard from scoring an early training double on the Belmont card when Forbidden Planet, went down narrowly to Yeah Dardy, after Bronze Idol took out race 2 on the card.
Coming out of the stalls in a forward fashion, Randy Tan had the runner bowling along nicely, hard up against the rail with Breganz in advance of Shed Talk, until late in proceedings when the fast finishing Yeah Dardi, motored down the centre of the track to grab Forbidden Planet by a lip on the line with Lockroy the next runner in.
