Stable runner Silver Knows finished moderately in the concluding stages of the Gannons Hcp at Northam piloted by Jarrad Noske to finish 3rd.
Mid-race Silver Knows was towards the back with three runners behind it, before stoking up from the turn to go out after the race leaders.
The leaders by that stage were Hell Of A Story and Vonconi, though the complexion of the race was about to change as Sondheim cruised to the lead down the centre of the track to land in advance of Cool Knight who was back towards the rail from the Pearce prepared Silver Knows who made a dash late down the outside to secure third.
