The Tabtouch Masters Handicap over 2100 m was won by Gatting with the stable prepared runner Rosewood Hill, finishing 2nd with a small field of seven competing.
Respondent led Shinta Mani, Northridge followed in advance of Dark Musket, Rosewood Hill was next in front of the race favourite Gatting who was out the back.
Into the straight the 2 favored runners raced to the lead with Gatting getting the better of a game Rosewood Hill to grab the thicker end of the prize by a half head on the line, in advance of Rosewood Hill with Northridge the next runner to arrive.
