Pearce Racing’s good form continued at Pinjarra Scarpside on Saturday with the stable preparing a winning double.

Progressive four-year-old Richanco ($2.10) continued his perfect preparation when taking out the TABtouch Have You Got The Touch Handicap (1000m) to land a winning hat-trick.

Ridden by Brad Parnham, the exciting Rich Enuff four-year-old was having his first start down the straight course and had a tendency to lay in and shift ground over the final furlong which resulted in an unsuccessful protest being lodged by the third-placed Celestial Storm ($3) before the placings remained unchanged.

Hanchi ($16) finished a long-neck second, with Celestial Storm a further nose away in third place.

Richanco is building up an impressive record with his 10 career starts to date netting six wins, three minor placings and $222,520 in total earnings and he appears destined for stakes races in the future.

Meanwhile, stablemate Dun With The Blues made a top return to racing when victorious in the Hahn Super Dry 3.5 Handicap later in the day.

The Dundeel five-year-old was having her first start since January 1 and was aided by a lovely ride by William Pike when landing one-out and one-back from barrier six and hitting the line strongly to finish alongside race-favourite Camera Action ($3.20).

The photo finish gave the Oakland Park-bred mare the verdict by a short head, with Planet Cash ($18) a further neck away in third.

Dun With The Blues has now had 18 career starts for five wins, seven minor placings and $193,999 in total earnings.

The Pearce stable will saddle up Zing To Win, Wineaclocksumwhere and Pull The Trigger at Kalgoorlie on Sunday before Monday’s Northam meeting where Madame Magic and Manavendra are set to contest the featured $100,000 WA Day Cup (1600m).
