Wineaclocksumwhere broke his maiden status at Narrogin on Sunday when justifying his short-priced favouritism in the Enjoy & Save As A Narrogin Racing Member Handicap (1190m).

Starting the $1.55 elect with Tash Faithfull aboard off the back of two runner-up finishes, the Sessions three-year-old was sent straight to the lead and absorbed pressure throughout running before giving a nice kick over the late stages.

The gelding pulled away from Summer Mood ($5) to win by more than two lengths, with fellow Pearce-trained galloper Written Sin ($16) a further head away in third place.

Bred and owned by Oakland Park Stud, Wineaclocksumwhere has shown natural ability with his four career starts netting a win, two seconds and a fourth.

The Pearce stable will saddle up a big team across multiple Melbourne Cup day meetings on Tuesday, with Rally The Troops, Famous Dain, Rainline, Defending, Madame Magic, Manhattan Strip, Bondi King, Spirit Of Luna and Market Player accepted at Ascot and Bunbury.
