Bargain buy Fiorucci Mama capped off her handy earnings for connections with a $75,000 sale price at the conclusion of the latest Inglis Digital sale on Wednesday.
Purchased for only $10,000 as a yearling in 2021, the Rommel three-year-old instantly put her ownership group in front after winning on debut as a two-year-old at Ascot in January 2022.
She obtained valuable black type when finishing second to now-superstar filly Amelia’s Jewel in the 2022 Listed Supremacy Stakes two starts later and finishes her racing career with Pearce Racing having had 15 starts for three wins, four second placings and $229,764 in stake earnings and Westspeed Platinum bonuses.
Fiorucci Mama’s sale to Suman Hedge Bloodstock takes her total earnings for connections past $300,000 and she’s now set to be served by Newgate Farm stallion Stay Inside this spring.
Pearce Racing wish the filly and her new connections the best of luck for the future and look forward to following her progeny’s success.
