Daniel and Ben Pearce will unveil another three-year-old debutant at Northam today.
Testa Rossa filly Racy Ava will join stablemate Nobel Suspect, also a three-year-old, in the all-age Morris Pest And Weed Maiden (1300m).
Pearce Racing have already tasted winning success with seven individual three-year-old winners this season, including talented duo Money Maher and Father Knick.
Racy Ava won a Lark Hill barrier trial on April 24 and the Pearce stable say she returned a much bigger and stronger horse this preparation.
She’ll be partnered by Joseph Azzopardi and looks to have each-way claims jumping from barrier four in the 10-horse field.
Nobel Suspect, currently the $3.00 favourite for the race, boasts the strongest form lines having finished fourth to Disruptive in a 1000m event on September 23.
Aaron Mitchell will ride the gelding in a race for the first time and the pair should be able to get all the favours in running from barrier one.
The Pearce brothers also have Ragno Rosso, Don’t Fuss and Truth And Lies engaged at Northam.
Ragno Rosso last raced when finishing six-lengths fourth to Splash in a Toodyay Maiden 15 days ago, however, he’ll be better suited dropping back from 1100m in today’s Midland Gate Maiden (1000m).
Aaron Mitchell retains the mount aboard the gelding who will jump from barrier five in the field of 10.
Meanwhile, Scandal Keeper four-year-old Don’t Fuss and Star Witness three-year-old Truth And Lies will form a two-pronged attack for the stable in the TABTouch Handicap (1100m).
Don’t Fuss, a last-start winner on debut, appears to be the better chances of the two but will have to carry the 59kg topweight against talented types Danes Maree and Another Story.
Peter Hall will ride the gelding again and the pair have first-three claims.
Truth And Lies, also a winner on debut, will be having her third start for the preparation after making up late ground when fifth to the well-hyped Mikimoto last time out.
The filly should be suited by the seven-horse field size and the stable will be hoping to see her hitting the line strongly again for a first-four finish.
Shaun O’Donnell retains the mount.
Pearce Racing’s Viscount five-year-old Pushin’ Shapes finished second to in-form galloper Our Finest Moment at yesterday’s Belmont meeting.
