Bella’s Idol runs a genuine 1200 m at Belmont in the budget car & truck rental handicap with Jarrad Noske riding the runner at odds of 20 to 1 to a third place prize.

Sitting behind the pace setter Herron Point, there were four or five runners spread across the track midway down the straight, Deadly Shot nearer the inside, seemed to have the the competitors covered, though Burning Magic made it look interesting late on the line, with the judge left to awarding the former (Deadly Shot),  beating the latter home,  brave Bellas Idol hit the line well, to finish off the gallop nicely in third.
